About Me
Hi I'm Jack! I'm a Scottish traveller who loves going to interesting places, I especially love the outdoors! I just started hosting, I live on the periphery of Glasgow in the west, a place called Clydebank. It's roughly 30 minutes or so into the centre by public transport. Maybe twenty minutes in the west end, (the swanky part) where I went to uni! So fairly accessible.
I'm pretty sociable and always down to meet new folk, If you're looking to stay in Glasgow and want to hang I'm yer man, I'm planning to hitchhike from Poland to Thailand next year. Using this a lot, world packers, wwoofing, and any other means I can to stretch the budget and time as much as I can. Who knows how it'll go, and if I'll survive :o
I'm pretty easy going, house rules are pretty minimal, just dinny wreck the gaff plz. Though I can work sleepovers, usually less keen on hosting then.
Not big on people just using this like a free hotel, if you're coming please share your plans! Its a lot more fun that way :D
A polite request goes a long way ;)
I've a couch and a sort of foldable bed I can put out. So up to two probably.
If you're cool, like a chat, travelling, outdoors and the like ye should swing by!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
It's a fantastic way to meet people! Its not as strong as it was I think but its still a great way of meeting locals and experiencing a country in a more involved way I reckon.
Interests
I love anything outdoors, I'm at home when I'm out in the mountains, or the ocean.
Different cultures excite me, I like to travel off the beaten path, share adventures with people.

Lived in a Fijian Village for a month, the experience trumps anything I've ever done and has inspired me to travel more.
I hitch hiked up and down Shetland! And nearly died! Fun times
Teach, Learn, Share
About my home in bonny Scotland! The places I've been, perhaps some language practice. Pretty keen on history and local peoples perspective on the world.
Maybe we could jam if you've got a spare guitar!
