Recent university graduate taking a break before starting a job. I want to see more of the world and meet people on the way.

Interested in long hiking and exploring natural beauty while I'm away and also eating lots of new food.

Sports are my main hobby. Football, running, cycling, rowing, squash...

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I started Couchsurfing when travelling solo around SE Asia and looking to meet people interested in walking and trying new things (especially food). I started in Sri Lanka and then moved onto Malaysia, Vietnam and Myanmar.

I found couchsurfing a good way to meet people on my travels and had mainly positive experiences.

Now looking to meet up with people and possibly host if we are in the same area.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

In Vietnam, I was on a 12 hour bus journey and got chatting to a Vietnamese man who was returning home to his brother's wedding. He ended up inviting me so I got off with him and stayed with his family for 4 days.

Vietnamese weddings take place over three days and I was considered part of the family for the whole time. It was easily the best experience I've had whilst travelling!
