Live in the centre of Durham (Viaduct) with 5 minutes walk to centre of town.

Have only a single room in a student flat, so I can only really offer you the floor, a small couch, or my bed if you can persuade me, but I'd love the opportunity to share what I have.

I feel I should probably contribute if I intend to partake for myself.

Can only definitely house a single person at a time, for a night at a time (limited resources, man), but I'd love the chance to meet some new people. Students heading up for a night, definitely let me know, and any travellers with interesting stories are always welcome.

I read somewhere that couchsurfing should only be about the cultural exchange and not just getting a place to sleep, but I know there'll be a point in my life where I really just need a bed. Let me know your story, I'll do my best to help.

Student in law - interested but sick of the careerist attitude of students.

Key interests: literature (modern American classics, Russian classics, anything you recommend me), music (come from an R&B, soul and hip hop background, developed into techno [acieeed] and some of the stranger parts of electronic music - DJ on a personal level), travelling (want to learn more about hitchhiking and general survival skills), philosophy (existentialism, humanism, but anything is interesting) and current affairs.
