Warum ich bei Couchsurfing bin

I am starting off on a 2 month adventure starting in September and have had friends host people as well as couchsurf themselves before and am interested in trying it out. I have traveled out of the U.S. before but always with the family and never on my own. I want to couchsurf because I want to get an inside look at the places I am visiting the way the locals see their city/town.
