hey. my name's jack and i'm a native of san francisco, ca. last year, i got a great opportunity to pursue my master's in zurich, switzerland, and so i've been studying there for the last 1.5 years. i love traveling and getting to know people! i live in a 45 person student house, so every day, i get to spend time learning about others from all over the world.

i've heard great things from friends who have couchsurfed before. when i travel, i am always on the search of what the 'real' city is -- and i know that there are others out there searching for the same thing in my city.

i'm really looking forward to meeting my hosts and learning about them, what it's like to live in these cities i'm interested in. and of course, i'm stoked to give people the opportunity to see what it's like to live in my city as well!
