About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Discovering the world and its wonders

ABOUT ME

I'm a French guy who left France about one year ago (July 2010) for a work opportunity in China. It is actually my very first job, but this is definately an amazing experience here. Chinese culture is SO different from europe, i guess i learn things everyday in here. One hear lots of stereotypes about Chinese people in general (ok, some of them are true), and i think you really have to experience Chinese life to understand their culture, their behavior, their way of life...
I'm actually enjoying my new life in Nanjing, but i wish i could speak more chinese to be able to talk to local people more often. Coz yeah, english is not that popular over here !

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

As i travelled the world for one year, i know what "living on a low budget" means. I did couchsurf during that time, it was a great experience for each of them and of course helped a LOT. Meeting new people is something I really consider enriching, and listen to new lifestories is priceless.
My best couchsurfing experience was definately when I was in SF two years ago. The guy who hosted me and my friends couldn't have been any nicer to us. We shared great moments i'm sure all of them will remember for a very long time.

Interests

I'm really into sports, and outdoors. I try so stay in shape as much as i can, so when my buddies are not available for training, i just hit the gym, or swim a bit.
Travelling is also sth I really enjoy. I've already been to many countries, but wanna discover even more. My next move will probably be Mongolia (August 2011).
