About Me

After studying for 4 years at Lancaster University, England, I am now on my journey exploring the globe, learning about new places and seeing all the amazing areas I've never had the chance to see before.

I love being outdoors in the wide, open, fresh air and want to keep nature as pristine as possible (I like to take photos of these places). I'm a passionate believer in helping implement change in order to push forward a sustainable ethos for posterity. If you don't believe in climate change or don't care about it, then we might bounce heads, although I'm more than happy to explain to you why I have my point of view.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Through Couchsurfing I'm looking to engage with locals and learn about the cultures other people have been brought up in. I want to show and be shown the best local places to eat food (vegetarian) and the hidden gems that only a few know about.

I'm more than happy to have discussions about current global affairs and would relish the opportunity to learn more. If you have hiking trails or rock climbing facilities close by, then count me in!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I listen to almost everything, but you won't catch me singing along to the majority of the top hit charts. I mainly listen to acoustic and chill music but when the time comes, a little dance/dnb/house wouldn't hurt.

Movies: Into the Wild, Gladiator, Braveheart, Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, anything that has a little more to it than the generic Hollywood template film.

Books: I tend to deviate between mountaineering books and other non-fiction books related to the climate change, nature, race, politics, economics and other science.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

You could read this two ways, so:

I saved my pet hamster's life once.
or
3 months as a pioneering instructor at Camp Takajo, Maine, USA.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: I can try to help teach about climate change, English language, hiking and camping skills, rock climbing, photography and cooking.

Learn: Teach me anything you think is worth knowing.

Share: Everything and anything?

What I Can Share with Hosts
