Overview
About Me
Having left my marketing job of 8 years, I am aiming to reach Australia from the UK without flying. Started off as an environmental motive, but if I am honest it is about the adventure of the experience.
I am a singer/songwriter, something I used to describe as a hobby but I am going to try to make a go of it. Having just completed a couple of months on a yacht (which got me from Spain to the USA), I guess I am a deckhand too! I am hoping to sail a lot in this trip to get myself from Day Skipper to Yachtmaster by the end of it - and from that I am hoping to know what my next career will be.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have never tried it, and the nature of my trip lends itself to couchsurfing. I am excited to meet the kind of people who would open their home to someone they have never met without financial incentive.

Teach, Learn, Share
I am currently learning spanish, doing some downloaded singing lessons and harmonica lessons too. Do not worry though, I will not break your silence!
I'd love to jam with people if that works out, or I could give a few guitar lessons to beginners if that is something you'd like to do.
