Hi! We are Jack and Mhairi, a British couple in our mid-20’s who are on a one year long round the world trip! We are a happy and friendly couple who have a huge passion for travelling this beautiful planet! We love to stay with local hosts as we travel the world to meet new people and share our stories from our travels as well as learn from our hosts about their passions and the local area!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We would love to be able to explore a destination with the tips our host could recommend; there’s nothing better than getting off the main tourist path and exploring places only known by residents of the area! We love to meet new people and learn about places they have travelled or the life experiences they have had. We feel much more comfortable and happy staying with someone in their home than in an isolated hotel room!

Travel, animals, the environment, music, card games, board games, good food, cooking, reading, museums, football, basketball, films and musical theatre!

Music, Movies, and Books

Jack loves American hip hop, funk and jazz music, whilst Mhairi loves musical theatre! We have both found a new passion for reading since we began travelling, so far our favourite has been Robinson Crusoe! We both love a good comedy/ action film! We would love to get some new book recommendations for our hosts.
