I'm originally from a tiny town in rural Australia but I moved to Wollongong to study teaching. I'm currently in my 3rd year as a high school English teacher but I also work part time as a guitar tutor and play in bands.

I'm on couch surfing because meeting new people is one of my favourite parts of travelling, and I think it's a great way to get an authentic experience from the places I visit.

I really enjoy playing/creating music, especially with other people. If you play an instrument or if you're passionate about any type of music I'd love to chat about it.

I'm really into playing/watching sport and before I became a broken old man I used to play a fair few so if you want to throw a frisbee around or something I'd be stoked.

I get around most music genres but I'm mainly into Rock/Punk/Metal. My favourite bands are Pup, Fidlar, Queens of the Stone Age, Mastodon, Parkway Drive, Metallica and a lot of others. Always looking to find new artists though, here's hoping you introduce me to some!

I mainly watch comedy movies/tv shows, and some of my favourites are It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, popstar, Hot Rod, the Simpsons when it was good, Flight of the Conchords, Brooklyn 99 and Hot Fuzz.

I'm a massive stand up comedy fan as well so if you have any recommendations hit me up.

I'm always on the lookout to learn some new local slang wherever I'm travelling, so if you teach me some I'll teach you how to sound like a true blue Aussie.

I've been playing guitar for most of my life and I'll have one with me while I'm travelling so if you play an instrument I'd definitely be interested in having a little jam. If you don't play I'd be happy to teach you how to play a few things or learn some of your favourite songs for you (my voice is absolute trash so I definitely won't be serenading you unfortunately).
