I work in Yosemite national park during the summer as a Naturalist Park Ranger. I enjoy spending time in the mountains and riding my bike. I play bluegrass, folk and old time music (guitar, fiddle, banjo, mandolin). I'm traveling through Mexico to get even more fluent in Spanish and to see the beautiful country. I grew up in San Diego, CA and went to college in Santa Cruz, CA with a degree in Environmental Studies. I have had a lot of different jobs over the years including working at organic veggie farms, an immigrant shelter, and field biology in the Mojave desert.

Trabajo en el parque nacional Yosemite durante el verano. He trabajado allá por siete veranos! Me encanta pasar tiempo en los montañas y andar en bici. Soy músico y toco muchos instrumentos (guitarra, violin, banjo, jarana, mandolina, piano). Voy a viajar en México para mejorar mi español aun mas. También me encanta la comida, la cultura, y la música de México. Nací en San Diego y estudié en una universidad en Santa Cruz, CA. Me gradué con una carrera de estudies medio ambiente. He tenido muchos trabajos temporales como huertos organico de verduras, hogar para inmigrantes, y en una reserva natura en el desierto Mojave.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Meeting new people while traveling is always an exciting thing. I really enjoy being in a new place and getting the chance to meet and hang out with someone who is from that area, as it enriches my experience so much. Some of my best memories of traveling are with local people from the area I'm visiting. I really value the depth that they add to my travels.

Conocer la gente nueva cuando estás viajando es una cosa linda y emocionante. Disfruto estar en una lugar nueva y por casualidad conocer gente y pasar un ratito con personas que encanta el pueblo viven. Algunos de mis recuerdos mejores de viajando son con personas locales porque añade profundidad a mi experiencia.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
