About Me
******I cannot accept guests freely right now since our guest room is being used by our foreign exchange student*****
Hello! I am Jack and I currently attend community college in Laguna Beach, California! I plan to transfer either to UCLA, George Washington Univ, or UCSB and major in Geography/Geographic Information Systems (GIS)! I have traveled globally and experienced a variety of cultures and my goal in life is to influence urban planning through a compromise of all the benefits these cultures had to offer!
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have already been subject to the mundane trip of just check listing all the major sights and/or museums in cities so now I aim to use travelling for a new purpose. As I am now in college, I aim to use every experience in my research studies and professional work. With that said, I want to be able to meet up with the local people of metropolitan cities around the world and find out what they love and hate about their city, and ultimately what they want urban planners like me to do to solve their problems! And, well, if I plan to travel globally and hit many different cities and interview people from around the world; what better way to save money and get a culture immersion than Couchsurfing!

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy just about all forms of art, I’m not too picky about music, etc!
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Watching the sunrise from the top of Machu Picchu, nothing can beat that... Yet.
Teach, Learn, Share
One of my nagging issues is that my public schooling never truly required to learn another language, so one of my main things to learn is bits and pieces of global dialect and foreign languages. I want to learn about the everyday culture and societal issues that people around the world are subject to. I also want to learn about your city, what you love about it, what you hate about it, and what you want done in order to improve the efficiency of your life! In return, I can teach you how Geography/Geographic Information Systems (GIS) is becoming a prominent field of work in the world today and how we use this unique combination of Physical, Social, and Computer/Data science to help transform the earth as we know it!
