I grew up in Kingston, Ontario, spending my summers in rural New Brunswick. I went to Theatre School in Mississauga, and then moved into Toronto. I do some acting, but most of the time I'm moving furniture with a company full of other aspiring artists. I've studied Goju-Ryu karate for over ten years, and I travelled to Japan with the Canadian delegation for the 2008 World Butoku-sai. I'm involved with a group called Citizens Climate Lobby, who lobby for a price on carbon emissions. In 2014 I went to Ottawa to lobby the Canadian Parliment. Earlier that year I also travelled to NYC for the People's Climate March.
