About Me
I'm on couch surfing to see the world and have a good time! I'm an English major at uni with hopes to work in some kind of travel or outdoor journalism. I love traveling because it allows me to meet people with different perspectives on life and grow as a person because of it. I think couch surfing is a great way to get to know the local community on a more intimate level than is possible by just staying in a hostel with other foreigners. My true passion is the outdoors, I enjoy every aspect of the outdoors from skiing and rock climbing to simple walks in the woods.
I work/volunteer at the San Diego Maritime museum when I'm not at school or traveling and help to maintain and sail traditional square rigged tall ships. This has taught me to love craft for craftsmanship sake and has taught me how rewarding a 9 hour day of physical labor can be.
