I am young english man with a big heart. I love life, people, the world we are lucky enough to inhabit and I am thankful for the opportunities that are available to us. I am currently spending a lot of my time working on myself and building my future, so I have given up drinking and taken up reading, writing and exercising. I have big dreams, and I am always interested in learning about other people, their stories, experiences, lessons learnt and plans for the future.

I am new to couchsurfing but i have been surfing couches for many years!

Por que estou no Couchsurfing?

I am looking to meet more like minded people to join me on this journey called life. I see couch surfing as a place where conscious and caring people can meet which is absolutely perfect.
I am offering anyone that is travelling to Birmingham a place to stay, a companion to eat&drink with and a guide to the city! I have been a student here for 3 years (last year i was studying abroad in Milan) and know some of the top spots as well as a bit of history of the city! Train tickets are only £5 from London and most people have no desire to visit Birmingham which is a shame because its an awesome city!
I would like to build genuine relationships which are mutually beneficial and genuine, not just for the purpose of a place to stay but to make meaningful relationships with good people. I am also a student that's short on money, and I enjoy cooking and cleaning (helping) so why would I spend money on a hotel when I can make a friend, help them out and grow with them! Plus I know that many other people are in the same position and so it is best that we all help each other out!!

Interesses

I am interested in practically everything. I am curious by nature, and passionate about life. Theres always more to see and more to learn!
I love to travel and spend time in different cultures, particularly with locals so that I can appreciate the reality of their lives and not what is presented to tourists. My favourite things when travelling are snorkelling and hitting view points!
I also love meeting people from different places with different experiences but the same open minds!

Favourite books this year are 'you are a badass', 'when (the science of perfect timing)' and a little book of stoicism.
