About Me

Happy, grateful person who is lucky enough to live in this beautiful city of Doha. I'm active with sports (squash, beach volleyball, badminton, running, cycling) and outdoor activities such as camping in the desert and stargazing, dune bashing with my Jeep, wake-boarding, sight-seeing, almost anything.

I'm a business analyst for a software company. My days are typical and standard. My nights and weekends are for play. I make the most out of every minute.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Coming from the US, this country is a new experience for me and it is wonderful. I try to tell all my friends back home, but they will never really know unless they come here to visit. So, I open my flat to anyone who is interested in visiting this great place and seeing what it has to offer. I've enjoyed it for 4 years! Perhaps others can enjoy it for a day and night. :)

I also have many friends who are couchsurfers here in Doha and they say it is great. After 4 years of exploring this country, I know every cool place to sight-see and take visitors so they can experience it for themselves.

Music, Movies, and Books

music: Country, Salsa, Top-40
movies: anything sci-fi, action and drama. Not into horror flicks.
books: anything adventure, suspense, cliff hanger
not into magazines
slowing down on social network postings as I start to feel awkward about pushing myself and my activities in front of all my friends- especially when some of their lives are tough and I don't want to be flaunting how my life is so great (which it is!).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Wow- out of my entire life- only one amazing thing I've done?? Well, I'd have to say "going with my gut" and getting married at 26, which led to my amazing daughter when I was 27. My whole life has been lead by doing what feels right rather than what is carefully calculated. Ugh- what a sad way to live in my opinion.

Teach, Learn, Share

I am not a teacher of anything. I call myself a listener and offer advice. I am willing to learn, but at my pace- I don't prefer to have people force lessons on me. I share everything- nothing to hold back.

What I Can Share with Hosts

"What I Can Share With Hosts" - Not sure what this means other than my friendliness and positive attitude. I am quiet, easy-going and amenable to most anything. I don't have any set requirements to enjoy what is in front of me.

Countries I’ve Visited

Japan, Netherlands, Qatar, Slovenia, United States
