My name is Jack and I'm 19. I live in Henley-on-Thames near Oxford and I have 2 brothers. I'm on a gap year before doing Spanish, Portuguese and Latin American Studies at Newcastle University and I am travelling round South America. For the past few months, I have been a teacher, working in a nightclub, a construction worker, a waiter and customer assistant at Tesco supermarket (All the best jobs...).

Interests

I'm really interested in sport - I play for Henley Town football club and enjoy playing rugby, tennis etc. I also love listening to music (especially live) enjoying all genres. I love sightseeing and having new experiences. Interested in trying some Tango, Salsa or something while travelling... Basically really easy going!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: If I want to relax, I might listen to some acoustic music like Tallest Man on Earth, Ady Suleiman or Benjamin Francis Leftwich. Before going out, I might listen to some Hudson Mohawke, Aluna George or Kanye West. I'm easy really!

Movies: Like movies like Motorcycle Diaries and Forest Gump; real life human stories. Not such a fan of loads of sci-fi stuff!

Books: Favourite authors include David Nichols and Nick Hornby.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I´ve just been living in Rocinha in Rio De Janiero for 2 months teaching english to kids and adults. Rocinha is the largest favela in Latin America so it was really interesting to live and work there while also learning some Portuguese!
