I'm a native to the NYC area, and I feel there's always a new place to explore. My favorite things to do include running or biking in the woods, checking out new spots in the city (museums!), and playing the guitar. I love meeting new people and sharing experiences together.

My housemate Vishal often hosts Couchsurfers in our apartment, and I've enjoyed meeting all the people he's hosted. I figured I'd go ahead and make my own profile to join in.

I'm mostly interested in science, medicine, and jazz. Anything can be fascinating depending on how you look at it though. I really love natural areas, and there's many around the NYC area if you know where to look.

My apartment has a large living room and a lot of space to sleep. We also have a couch and two full sized mattress we keep for Couchsurfers. The location is about 25 minutes away by train from both downtown and midtown Manhattan, and we're about 1 hour away by train from Newark Airport.
