Hello!

My name is Jack, I am 27 years old and I am from Colchester, Essex!

I have used Couch Surfing a few times back in 2016 whilst travelling in America, but now I am back on here in hope to find a place or two to stay whilst I am in London.

Things I love most:

- Travelling
- Theatre
- Music (Especially Disco, love disco!)
- Food!
- World of Warcraft (my guilty pleasure)

I currently work in a secondary school, in particular with children with special educational needs, challenging but very rewarding! On the site I co-own a theatre company which we take shows all over the world! I am very much part of the 'fringe' community and love meeting people from all parts of the globe.

I am currently working on a professional show in London for a week which is going to be taken to Edinburgh fringe. This is where I am hoping for a few lovely and like-minded people to let me stay with them and hopefully in return I can be an awesome couch surfer!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

After travelling to America in 2016 I was fortunate enough to stay with two awesome people, and whilst I have been travelling since I have not used Couch Surfing since 2016, so would love to get back in to meeting new people from all over the world and having an awesome time!

For the Summer 2019 I am looking for a place for a few days whilst I am working on a professional piece of theatre that will be taken up to Edinburgh fringe!

Music, Movies, and Books

Music

I would say that my taste in music is very eclectic, however I LOVE Soul, Funk and Disco for sure. Jamiroquai is my favourite band of all time, I would say music is one of the most important things in my life :)

Movies

I don't actually have a favourite film, however I do enjoy Action, Fantasy & Sfi Fi, Comedy, Musicals and also love a good Drama!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Before I went to University in 2011 I went travelling in Asia for a month with my two best friends. We travelled India, Nepal, Hong Kong and China which was one of the best things I have ever done. I had learnt so much about myself and the total contrast of modern society we live in that it had opened my eyes to a whole new world. The people I met, the food, the landscapes, everything was just incredible

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach some Contemporary Dance.

It would be great to learn a dance that I have not touched before.

One thing I am very interested is the American community.

I can share experiences of my travels so far and also in the past, it would be great to share stories with others.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a very open person and wear my heart on my sleeve, sharing my life and experiences with others would be an incredible thing to say I have done whilst travelling.

I am a very practical person, very fun and friendly! I am more than happy to help with any duties that need doing around the house.

Just being able to spend time with new people, seeing new places and also hopefully making new life-long friends would mean the world to me!
