Hey, my name is Jack, I'm 24 and I come from the UK and currently live in London! I recently moved back here after living in Poland for a year and I'm planning on staying for a little while to get the most of travelling around Europe before eventually moving on again! I can never stay in one place for too long. I'm an open and relaxed guy who loves to meet new people and experience something new as often as I can!

Dlaczego jestem na Couchsurfing

So many friends have told me about their great experiences using Couchsurfing so I thought it was about time that I joined too! Eventually, I'd love to host travellers through the site, but for now, I want to check out being hosted first and to check what all the fuss is about :)

Zainteresowania

I love to keep up to date with current affairs and run weekly workshops in my volunteer centre with a round-table discussion about what is going on in the world. I also teach English as a foreign language and I'm loving being able to discover my language whilst also learning a foreign language (Polish) at the same time. I mostly like to relax with a good tv show or film, and in my spare time, write poetry and short stories.

Muzyka, filmy i książki

I listen to music every day without fail, my favourite artists include Warpaint, Arcade Fire, Bon Iver, Kendrick Lamar, Vince Staples, Foals and The Maccabees.
My favourite movie is a pretty recent one, I loved Boyhood so much! I also like Disney Pixar films (not afraid to admit that), with Up being my personal favourite. And also Good Will Hunting as a classic that I love to watch now and then.
My favourite author is probably Hunter S. Thompson, and his gonzo style of writing inspires my own a lot!

Jedna niesamowita rzecz, którą zrobiłem(-am)

Probably the most freeing experience of my life was cycling to the top of a mountain in Slovenia, then going down a road, arms open wide, head back and just enjoying the moment. It's the smaller things that I find amazing, not the big things.
