Hi, I'm Jack. I'm originally from Brighton, England, but I've been living in Whistler in BC for the past 2 years. I'm now excited to do some travelling and see some other parts of the world, whilst meeting some great people along the way. I love nature, the outdoors, sports, and meeting people - I'm always up for trying something new.

I'm on Couchsurfing because I'd like to meet new people as I travel to share experiences and knowledge. To meet people from around the world, spend some time together and get to know each other - whether that's viewing the area or spending evenings together.

Music, Movies, and Books

Music: I like a variety of music, At the moment, I'm listening to a lot of Gorillaz and Lana Del Rey.

Movies: My favourite genres are horror / psychological thrillers / sci-fi
some of my favourite films are gone girl, little miss sunshine, silence of the lambs and inception.

Books: I don't read much, but when I do, it's typically psychological nonfiction. Talking to strangers has been one of my favourites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I did a 4 day wild camping hike with people I'd only spent a few hours with beforehand. It was great getting to know people in such a short time frame - we went from essentially strangers to close friends after spending 24/7 together.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'd love to learn to learn about other peoples home countries, seeing how culture and values differ from my own. Hearing about other peoples interests is an interest of my own.
Personally i'd like to learn some more cooking skills and pick up languages.

I'm happy to share some conversations, my thoughts, my food - maybe I could cook you something?

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can always share my time and some stories - one of the main reasons I'm here. I'm a clean person - I'll share that. I want to be as little maintenance as possible. I'm happy to share my food and could even cook for you?
