ABOUT ME

I've just finished a degree in Film Studies at King's College London (it actually did involve doing more than watching films all day, if you can believe that?!) and am now heading into my gap year. Hopefully I will get to travel during the Summer months, work like a dog for 6 months to save for spending two months travelling around South America and into North America, around the West Coast, across to Nashville, Tennessee and then up into Washington DC to pretend that I'm in the West Wing for my final few days. About myself, I would say that I am a friendly and funny (I find myself amusing at least...) person (how many times must you have read that?). In terms of socialising, I'd say I'm about balanced- I do love a massive party or night out, but I also equally enjoy a night with friends just chatting, watching a film or sitting on the beach. I'm also kind of new to this travelling malarky, but am loving it, and cannot wait to experience more of the world!

Music, Movies, and Books

I spend quite a lot of time reading books and watching films, so I won't bore you by listing all of my favourites (or write a list deliberately designed to impress you!). All I'll say is that pretty much game to watch or read anything. On the one hand, I love the West Wing, 70s Hollywood films and the books of Richard Yates, whilst on the other hand, nothing beats a few episodes of One Tree Hill, Superbad or a bit of Harry Potter.
