ABOUT ME
Like the rest of you, I am out to conquer the world through my senses. I am constantly lusting after new experiences of the spirit, of the flesh, of the mind; seeing, feeling, tasting, hearing all this world has to offer. The means, I leave up to chance. I have itchy feet and am often on the move in search of the new, taking risks and experimenting all the way.
On the flipside of that, I like to take the time to appreciate these new visions, be a little spiritual and meditate or wander into the forest on my own. I find myself most at peace by the sea and hope to sail around the world one day.
I like having a good time, whether that be going hard at a party or chilling out and having a good old chin-wag. So long as you don't mind smart-arses and a bit of banter, we'll get along just fine.
PHILOSOPHY
Eat, cake, hugs.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I want to connect with a place and, while a lot of doing that comes through seeing its landscapes and cities and arts, an integral part of that is meeting the people who live there and breathe it in and out, sharing their life with it.
I also want to get the low down on them badboy insider secrets so I can stay off the beaten path enough to keep it interesting and so I don't have to sell a kidney half way through my trip or start eating tree bark or something.
Interests
Anything and everything. Being introduced to new music, new food, new people and new ideas. I love chatting and philosophising, putting the world to rights over a cup of tea. I'm English, after all. And northern, more importantly.

Music, Movies, and Books
Anything by Kurt Vonnegut, Camus and poets like Walt Whitman or Pablo Neruda - the ones with an affinity for the sea.
Arthouse, Wes Anderson, French New Wave, all that jazz
Speaking of, I mainly enjoy jazz and electronic music but really it's anything I can get my toe tapping to
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
In a list of stupid things I have done, I would have to say that chasing after an angry bull in Pamplona and trying to smack it on the arse would be at the top, especially after it turned on me and smacked me back.
I used to work at an Australian-themed bar in Manchester and a while back the entire Australian international rugby league team rocked up and we smashed through a whole week of partying. That was pretty intense.
The night sky in the Amazon.
Teach, Learn, Share
I can teach you some guitar and any of those languages you see on the left there. But I'm also open to being taught a few things, myself.
