I like to read and write and hike. I think that it is a universal human thrill to climb on top of things. I like to exercise and play sport and enjoy being outdoors. I like to be around water, although I think the desert has great charm as well. When indoors, I prefer a drink in good companyto a nightclub.

I've been to a few cities given my age and done all the recommended things there. But I think the best times and experiences come when you do not expect it. On a roadtrip to Uluru (central Australia), my friend and I detoured up to King's Canyon. A storm passed over - not necessarily common, especially in summer months. It was amazing to watch the canyon walls turn into little falls, and smell the eucalypt and feel the humidity rise straight off the rocks. On the way home we went offtrack and came down through the Flinders Ranges, which were equally magnificent.
