I am an outgoing, laid back guy with a good sense of humour. I love language and culture and immersing myself in foreign situations, especially trying new things. I love how much you can learn from meeting people and developing long lasting connections with individuals around the world. I enjoy reading, food, travelling and volunteering. I am very empathetic and take genuine care of those around me.

PHILOSOPHY

Living in fear isn´t real living and trying new things is the best way to learn.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I am new to this and am yet to have any experience, however I thoroughly look forward to my first surfing opportunity.

Interests

I absolutely love languages, immersing myself in a world of foreign slang and pleasantries. I find cultural history and issues of international justice equally as fascinating and strive to understand more about foreign communities and their plight for social equality. I spend my time eating, volunteering, taking aimless road trips with my friends and enjoying the company of those around me.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Conquering Macchu Pichu was a sense of physical accomplishment and awe that I had never experienced before. Volunteering in Cusco, Peru was equally as astounding as it opened my eyes to a world of injustice that I had only read about. Finally, visiting my grandfather's old house in Vienna, 60 years on from when he had fled Nazi threat, introduced me to a world of cultural, complex history.
