Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Life on the road became so much more fun once I started Couchsurfing.

It's my favorite way to travel since you can go anywhere in the world to meet locals and see life from their perspective. Whenever in a new place I prefer to learn about the culture, language, and people rather than just do the typical tourist things.

Interests

I keep myself fit with Martial Arts, Rock Climbing, Yoga, and whatever else I find exciting where I travel.

I like to go out when the music's good, and stay in with a book or a film when I feel like chillin. Gongfu tea anyone?

Music, Movies, and Books

My music taste covers a pretty broad spectrum: funk, rock, rap, reggae, blues, soul, house
Much of the music I like has a solid beat or a thought-provoking message... Ideally both
Almost anything goes if I can dance to it, although on my own I listen to a lot foreign music (in Spanish, French, Russian, Chinese, etc)

Too many good movies to pick a favorite. I like comedy, action, adventure, and documentaries

My favorite author is Michael Crichton

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

One time I gave a high five to 50 random people at the Boston Museum of Science (on a dare)
It seemed like a cool thing to do at the time... I was 11
