COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It's all been awesome! I have been hosted in Warsaw, Krakow, Kiev, Moscow, Tomsk, Irkutsk, Vladivostok and Tokyo, Seoul, Long Beach, Portland, Salt Lake City, Boulder, Chicago, Toronto and New York.

I wish to repay the kindness every single host showed me by hosting travellers in my own home.

Music:
ALL MUSIC! I really don't think there's any genre that doesn't have SOMETHING interesting in it, From Northern Soul to Electronica, Glam-Rock to current Lo-Fi Garage. Favourite Bands are: Pixies, The Smiths, David Bowie, Bob Dylan, The Stooges, Motorhead, Marvin Gaye, J5 (& Chali 2NA), Beastie Boys, The Strokes, Green Day (Pre 2005), Dinosaur Jr, Husker Du, The Breeders, Otis Redding, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Bikini Kill, Marine Girls etc etc etc...

Movies:
I have a real thing for 80's sci-fi/Horror. ESPECIALLY John Carpenter movies. And an unhealthy obsession with Star Wars, The Lord of the Rings and Quentin Tarantino movies. Also Wes Anderson, Kevin Smith, Jean Luc Goddard and the Cohen Brothers.

I work in an Independent Cinema so I see Movies all the time.

Books:
J.D.Saingers OTHER books, Saul Bellow, Herman Hesse, Albert Camus, Hemmingway, Steinbeck, Calvino, Satre, Paul Theroux. Anything on cities and urban wandering, I studied Guy Debord and the Situationist International as part of my degree, and anything where the protagonist is an angst-ridden young man in his 20's, preferrably IN the 20's too...

I also like comics. Batman, Animal Man and anything by Grant Morrison and Alan Moore (Obvs.)

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Crossed the Pacific on a 300m Freighter Ship, had New Years Day twice.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can bake a pretty good Lemon Drizzle cake, and make Shepherd's Pie!

I can poach an egg, that's like eggs 101!

And do minor bicycle repair/maintainance.

I cannot Juggle
