I'm a relaxed, easy going guy British guy. Always up for meeting new people and having some great experiences in life!

I'm clean, respectful and love all animals, especially dogs.

This year I'm taking as a gap year; I finished school in the UK, saved up some money and want to get some life experience before I ship off to Uni.

PHILOSOPHY

My personal philosophy is generally just to enjoy everything about life and keep a positive frame of mind. Right now I'm relaxing and having a good time, until next year where I'll be getting down to business and studying until I get where I need to go.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm using CouchSurfing to enhance the social side of my trip to Edmonton. Meeting people from around the world is the reason I travel, and couch surfing makes this so easy, it'd be a crime to pass up!

So far I have only used Couch Surfing while in Turkey my girlfriend and I found it very helpful! Being able to see the city of Antalya, Istanbul was much more organized and fun with the help of our hosts!

Interests

I'm teaching myself graphic design as a friend recommended it as a means of travelling and I love it! I love most sports, enjoy listening to and playing music. Other than that, pretty much the norm; meeting new people, enjoying myself and living a laid back life style. I must log at least 2.5 hours in Reddit a day, so I guess you could call that an interest too :)

Music, Movies, and Books

Music:
My taste in music is very diverse; from Jimi Hendrix, to Snoop Dogg - most music I can get into.

Movies:
I like way too many movies to list but here are a few that have stuck with me: Devils Advocate, Zombie land, We're the Millers.
As for TV my most watched shows are: Suits, American Horror Story, Walking Dead, Conan, The Late Late Show and the Pete Holmes Show. As you can probably guess I'm way into late night talk shows for some reason...

Books:
Napoleon Hill is a genius. Read my fair share of Osho books during my spiritual phase... Other than that I love to read light horror/thriller books!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was a kid I used to travel a lot with my parents, but since I was raised witnessing all these unique places all the time nothing really struck me as amazing. I've done bungee jumping which was pretty cool, I've seen the pyramids, been shouted at in Arabic, rode horses through the desert and scooters through little European towns Recently I travelled through Turkey and Cyprus with my girlfriend and saw some amazing things; the hot springs at Pammukale, the ruins at Olympus, the marina at Bodrom - really all of it was beautiful and an amazing thing to see. I've hung out with all different types of people; from going trial riding with cowboys, to sharing a peace pipe with native Americans.
I've partied a lot, enjoyed myself and have quite a few story's but now I'm just looking to hang out and meet new people.

Teach, Learn, Share

I would love to learn more about editing, photography, I'm always interested in anyone's take on philosophy.

Although I'm not a writer myself I'd love to meet some and hear about their career.

As far as things go that I can share... Ummm... I'm more of a Jack of all trades kinda guy, I can pick any thing up but I'm not really the master of anything, therefore I don't feel I'm in a position to teach. If that makes sense? Although I am competent at guitar and can teach a beginner until they are able to stand on their own feet as a guitarist, maybe.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share stories and food. I like to order takeaway. If you give me a couch to sleep on, the donairs are on me!
