About Me

I enjoy weird and creative people, and I consider myself to be both.

I have a significant appreciation for all types of music, I feel it's one of the best ways to connect with people.

I'm an active person and always up for an adventure.

I'm self aware and a hard worker.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love to meet new people and explore new places!

6.1.17:
Currently I'm on a solo trip through Iceland, Ireland, and U.K. with very little to my name.. which is what brought me here! I'm an extremely easygoing art school graduate who is constantly being humbled by the post-grad life. I have excellent manners (thank you, mom) and I'm always willing to help out around the house if needed. The idea behind this sort of community really excites me too! I'd love to host those in need once I return to the states!

Music, Movies, and Books

I listen to a lot of alternative rock-based genres! Along with indie-pop, folk, and electronic. Some of my favorite artists are A Great Big Pile of Leaves, The Strokes, and The Growlers.

Film-wise, I love indie flicks and smaller budget dramas/comedies/thrillers. Some of my favorites are The Before Trilogy, Blue Ruin, and Short Term 12.

Books? A great one I read a few months ago was A Light Between Oceans. Currently reading the Subtle Art of Not Giving A F*ck. Sounds ridiculous, but its a truly eye-opening self help book. Actually really glad I'm reading it on this trip.

Teach, Learn, Share

I helped to teach a cinematography class for 2 years when I was a preceptor in college. I know quite a bit about lighting and cameras, always willing to share what I know!

I love to learn about pretty much most things. I'm always grateful when people are willing to share their knowledge with me.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I don't have much in terms of materials. But like I said, I'm very willing to help out around the house, do yardwork or other chores. I'm a very dependable worker and a quick learner.
