About Me
CURRENT MISSION
When life gives you lemons, make lemonade.
ABOUT ME
I never meant to live and travel in some many countries, I expected to live out my life in Wyoming but life has lead me to Norway. I have been lucky in that where I move I meet the most amazing people, that not only become my friends but adopt me into there family. I am lucky to have such good friends.
I believe in the saying "Where ever you go, there you are"
PHILOSOPHY
You can not choose your family, only your friends. My friends are the family I choose for myself.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I am meeting great people now in Oslo that host and surf. I find that helping out for parties is a great way to give back to Couch Surfing. I believe in Karma, and paying it forward.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I have hosted many times now, and each time met I have met amazing people. Each new surfer I meet teaches me something new about the world. I am now active in the CS parties and enjoy meeting other CS hosts in Oslo.
Interests
Rock climbing where ever I can find I rock, I'll climb it. I am getting older and wiser and using a helmet most of the time. Hiking in the forest, I can look out of my window and see the forest. Plus I like mountain biking, sea/river kayaking, swimming, Yogic Arts, Karate, and Tae Kwondo.
I like the outdoors and in the summer I go sea Kayaking and also bouldering. There are places to climb near the fjord where you can "Free Climb" with out ropes and you just fall into the sea! I also rock climb, and can loan you a harness.
The University here has a rowing club so that is also a possible.
In the winter cross country skiing is great here and I can loan you boots if you just tell me your size. Also, we can warm up later at the University Pub here or catch a free concert in Oslo sometime. I have a 2 friends that are Jazz musicians in Oslo.
