About Me

CURRENT MISSION

See as much of myself and the world as I can

PHILOSOPHY

I'm pretty much completely open minded, what I think isn't set in stone and is constantly being updated based on new things learned along the way.
I think anyone who says they know anything for certain is deluding themselves, everything is just a theory. I believe life is just an amazing, incomprehensible thing that must be enjoyed for what it is at all times, good and bad and right and wrong are relative and don't actually exist apart from in our opinions. Life is good and always will be, everyone is a teacher, every opportunity to help a blessing and every small thing received a gift.

Interests

Certified Chess freak! Like to win but actually prefer to lose because I feel you learn more from a loss against a stronger player than a win against a weaker one, even if it's a bit hard on the ego!
Reading, particularly non fiction and especially quantum physics! I'm fascinated by the idea that the world we perceive as outside is not actually observer independent, but is instead a reflection of oneself and changes and adapts to one's expectations and beliefs about it. The world is what we expect it to be, and all apparently external experiences are actually journeys into our own consciousness. As you can see I'm into quite light hearted subjects!!
I'm a keen poker player but far too inconsistent to do it seriously...
