Born and raised in Los Angeles, California. I spent most of my 20s playing and officiating a nerdy card game called Magic: The Gathering. In short, I got to fly around the world and watch my friends play my favorite card game, and tell them that they're doing it wrong. I also spent some time as a home school teacher in 2015, witch was a hard and transformative year of my life.

I'm a queer, bi-racial American. My life is political by definition. I love having conversations about how to make the world a better place for the most people. I have no interest in debating whether or not some individuals deserve to suffer or exist. Every sentient life deserves love and compassion. The hardest ones to give it to are the ones who need it the most.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Originally came on here because I had a couple friends who were hosts. I really started using this site in 2018, mostly as an excuse to come early/stay late in the cities I was traveling to for work but wouldn't otherwise be able to experience. I've met some life long friends, and I'm excited to get back on the road and see more of the world!

I hope to co-own a property in northern Pennsylvania soon, where I can't wait to host people and give back to this amazing community in one more way.

Music, Movies, and Books

I genuinely like most kinds of music. Mom was a music teacher and a church choir director for most of my life, and I enjoy anything from Irish Folk to Egyptian Rock to Mexican Punk to Classical Indian.
