About Me
ABOUT ME
Pretty laid back and easy-going guy. I'm always trying to learn about new things, culture, people, places.
From the U.S., born and raised in Illinois. Got to spend 4 incredible years in the amazing city of New Orleans for university while studying anthropology. Currently living in Japan and teaching English at 4 elementary schools. No idea what life has in store for me next, but excited to find out!
PHILOSOPHY
Never stop learning and improving and evolving. Don't ever just stay in the one place, be it physical, mental, spiritual. Travel extensively and do everything in your power to broaden your experience in this brief time we have on such an amazing planet.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I want to be able to meet and share experiences with people through my travels. Either by crashing at their place, or just meeting up to hang out and get some local advice and tips. I am also more than happy to host people if they ever come through my neck of the woods.
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
Not much experience yet. I have hosted 1 couchsurfer and have hung out other people on CS. I've just recently begun to really travel, so I am hoping to add many more experiences in the future.

Music, Movies, and Books
Far too many to choose and list here. My tastes are very broad and I will give anything a chance. I like to watch, listen, and read things from any and all genres so that I can increase the opportunities to find things that are truly great and inspiring. As well as broaden my experience of life by increasing the amount of perspectives and viewpoints that I expose myself to.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Participated in the Naked Man Festival at Saidaiji Temple in Okayama, Japan
Teaching English to elementary school kids in Japan
Teach, Learn, Share
Teach: I don't know if there really is much I can teach, but I'm always happy to lend a helping hand to someone who wants/needs it.
Learn: I want to learn anything and everything that someone is willing to teach me. I enjoy learning new languages. Also its always great to learn new skills, sports, and other activities.
