Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My schooling has consisted primarily on the study of other cultures. How they operate and grow is the core of my academic interest. That being so the best way for me to truly understand culture is to live it. There is no way I can fully grasp the push and pull of global society behind a desk of computer. I need to go and do. Plain as that.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

This mentality needs to be more common place is our world.

Interests

Meeting people. There is only so much I can learn by myself. Other people are the best resource for knowledge if one is willing to listen. I swam for quite some time and when I have enough time a game or two. I used to be in a "band" but it was more just for having a good time with lots of people.

BA in Cultural Anthropology. A field of thought similar to sociology but while approaching culture from a more holistic perspective. Who people are, who they think they are and why they are themselves represent the key points in anthropological thought.
