ABOUT ME

I'm a down-to-earth, affable, open-minded and sociable person! I enjoy meeting new people, I love sport, I hope to travel after my studies are completed, and I'm currently seeking potential places to stay for 2 weeks when I visit the USA in the summer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Never couch surfed but thought it would be a great opportunity to meet people and network in addition to saving money to maxmise the travelling experience.

Interests

I love playing and watching sports, primarily I play field hockey, in addition to football, tennis, running and surfing, among others.

I enjoy a vast range of music from rock to house to rap, dance, trip hop, drum and bass, etc.

I enjoy visiting new places, going to festivals and gigs, meeting new people, hitting the nightlife occasionally, but also chilling out and relaxing with friends. I hope to do a lot more travelling after university!

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy a wide range of music, some of my favorite artists include: Linkin Park, Bloc Party, Sum 41, Ellie Goulding, Good Charlotte, Massive Attack, Blur, Pendulum, The Prodigy, Sub Focus, etc. Currently I am very in to Disclosure, The 1975, and numerous others.

I love lots of films such as: The Shawshank Redemption, Saving Private Ryan, The Departed, The Prestige, Blood Diamond, Inception, Dark Knight trilogy and loads of others. Also TV such as Band of Brothers, House, Peep Show, Heroes, Spooks.. as well as British classics like Only Fools & Horses, and Fawlty Towers. Obviously I love comedies too such as Anchorman, Shaun of the Dead, Dodgeball, Step Brothers, The Hangover, Wedding Crashers, Ted, Happy Gilmore, Monty Python etc...

I also occasionally read (obviously read the Harry Potter & LOTR series) enjoying novels such as those written by Steig Larsson and Khaled Hosseini. I also enjoy autobiographies but have recently read books such as Bounce, The Talent Code, and Mindset.

Representing Wales in hockey has been an amazing experience.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach and share about the UK, in addition to my knowledge of sport, university life, English stereotypes, beliefs and culture. I'm completely open-minded to learning as much as I can about other people and about the world that we live in.
