I am a part-time transcriptionist (yawn), but full-time premed post-bac student (yay). I thought I was done traveling for a bit, but the thought of endless years in school (AGAIN) inspired me to jet set for the umpteenth time.

There was this fire festival in Japan. During this festival about 3 people at a time go into the middle of a circle so everybody can watch. Because I was so obviously a foreigner, everyone really wanted me to do this with my sisters. So they light a giant ball of hay on fire. I had to swing it around my head until the fire went out (or I burned myself to death, which was totally a possibility).
