About Me

8 months and counting in Australia!

Orange County, California, USA is my home. Lived in Boston for 4 years studying Film Scoring at Berklee College of Music.

I'm a very easy going, social and clean person. I love love love the water - spearfishing, bodysurfing, sailing, you name it! I always prefer doing something adventurous/outdoors (or in water!) over going to a museum any day. I don't smoke but I enjoy the occasional drink.

My goal is to be able to travel and learn as much as I can before settling down somewhere in life. From the traveling I have done, I realize there is so much to be seen and experienced. A journey is best measure in friends, not in miles. Hopefully we can share a travel experience together and have the best of times, cheers!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I started a fundraiser for my friend who lost his only parent to help fund his college tuition. The amount of support went far beyond my expectations - it was extremely rewarding and humbling for me and helped Jonathan get on his feet.

Teach, Learn, Share

Previously the Sailing Director at Dana Point Yacht Club, CA. So I can teach you almost anything on a motor or sail boat of any size!

I write music for interactive media / film. I'm singer/songwriter, so I can teach guitar and vocal techniques if you're interested!

I love to making new friends from different parts the world. The friendships/fellow travelers I've made while traveling are the most genuine and inspiring people I've ever come across in my life. The best part is following everyone where they go and staying in contact long after the trip has ended - so cool. I want to learn the answers to the questions I never thought existed.

“Man cannot discover new oceans unless he has the courage to lose sight of the shore.” – Andre Gide

What I Can Share with Hosts

Free dinner and drinks on me!

Free sailing lessons!

Free guitar lessons!

If there's any labor/fixing up around the house I'm pretty handy so let me know if I can help.

I know hosting can be overwhelming as our lives don't just stop for couchsurfing - I'm happy to accommodate and enjoy being out exploring majority of the day/night so I won't be in the way of your plans! I'm always down to do something together / have a drink and hang as well.

Most of all I'm just happy and grateful to have a place to sleep while traveling!
