I'm originally from Phoenix Arizona and I lived in Northern Arizona for 7 years. I recently moved to Colorado to explore a new place with active individuals who have healthy lifestyles. I have my Masters in genetics and I am currently (but temporarily) teaching all types of Biology at a community college. I'm also moving to Thailand at the end of October 2017 and I plan to explore all that Southeast Asia has to offer.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm constantly traveling on a budget. I have found travel to be an integral part of my life. I am moving to Thailand for 6 months at the end of October 2017 and I am wandering from now until then. If you have any suggestions of where to go and what to see, I'm all ears.

Music, Movies, and Books

I love all kinds of music.

When it comes to movies, I will watch just about anything. I'm always in the mood for comedies, but movies with twists or ones that make you think are generally my favorite. Fight Club and the Usual Suspects are two of my favorites.

I love books about travel and any book that catches my interest within the first two chapters.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I've been backpacking through Thailand and Scuba diving in various places of the world. One of the most amazing places I have been is the Galapagos.
