I am a math and science elementary instructional coach. Teaching is my passion. It took being an accountant and a stay-at-home mom to lead me to my teaching calling. I love to travel and meet people from different backgrounds and cultures. I am a foodie and enjoy trying new restaurants and foods from other countries. I am married (24 years) and have 2 adult children - one still in college.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I am couchsurfing because I am attending an out of state training for a week and am on a tight budget. Also, I'm traveling alone and feel more comfortable staying at a home rather than a motel. I would enjoy a nice conversation with good company after a long day in class.

Music, Movies, and Books

My all time favorite book is "The Secret Garden" since I was a small child. I love romantic comedies and don't watch scary movies. The fear of a hand reaching out from under the bed grabbing my leg is real!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Other than giving birth to my 2 children, one amazing thing that I've recently done is ziplined through the rainforest in Antigua. I went by myself and had an awesome time while my husband was in business meetings all day.
