I’m a quirky American woman with an optimistic open minded view on life. I have a passion for learning about other cultures and have always wanted to immerse myself in them. I don’t judge anyone for their life or their identity, as I respect everyone’s path and progress. I have never left the USA, and neither has my Fiancé, Ska. so we’re looking to meet people who are true to themselves and are willing to share the experience with us :)
I will admit, I am much more extroverted than my Fiancé. Odds are I will be instantly bubbly and friendly (I’ll probably be nearly overwhelmed with excitement), while I’ll probably have to take a little time to coax him out of his shell. But once he’s comfortable he’s goofy and fun loving and will blossom into his true self

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We’re looking for the real experience. I want to see the world through an infinite number of perspectives, and I feel like Couchsurfing might be a blessing in that aspect

Interests

The list is infinite :) I can find joy in almost anything. But food and languages are my passion. I love the arts, nature, gaming, and dancing outside in thunderstorms!
One thing that is unavoidable is our intense (sometimes crazy) love for wrestling, as Ska wrestles professionally.

I prefer fiction. Sci-fi, fantasy, dystopian, etc. Ska prefers non-fiction. Both of us thoroughly enjoy watching wrestling

I’ve gone surfing (actual surfing, not couch surfing) in Alaska; and yes, it was cold

Teach, Learn, Share

I’m a jack of all trades. I can help with everything from cooking techniques, to linguistics, to physics, to developing a green thumb :) Id love to learn anything y’all have to teach me! Ska’s specialties are much more specific, but when he opens up the sky is the limit.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I can share a positive outlook on life, an ear to those who just need someone to listen, a heart for those who need empathy, and a new perspective :) Ska provides conversation and excitement, whether it be about gaming, politics, wrestling, philosophy, etc.
Both of us will be certain to share the joy of our experience with our host and our gratitude. whether it means taking our host out to dinner, getting drinks, or even just a plain monetary gift as a thank you!
