Overview
About Me
I'm a food photographer and personal chef living in St. Louis with my girlfriend and my dog. I moved to St. Louis for grad school and loved the city so much I decided to stay after finishing my Masters'. I have an adorable dog named Bryan who loves cuddling on the couch and eating all the bread he can get his paws on. I'm in a feminist arm wrestling called St. Louis Lady Arm Wrestlers. I love visiting local farmers markets, camping, running, exploring new places, supporting local businesses, and meeting new and exciting people.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
Two of the things I enjoy most are traveling and getting to know new people...Couchsurfing allows me to do both! I'm new to Couchsurfing, but I've heard such great things that I can't wait to host & visit new friends.

Music, Movies, and Books
I enjoy listening to a variety of music, but I especially love watching local musicians perform at small venues, and St. Louis has tons of great music to offer! St. Louis also has a lot of talented poets, and I really enjoy going to poetry readings and other spoken word events as well.
Most of the books I own are cookbooks, but I'm also currently reading the Handmaid's Tale. One of my favorites is In Defense of Food by Michael Pollan. I love his holistic approach to food and his faith in our ability as humans to know how to eat well.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I traveled through Europe on my own and worked in a restaurant in Florence, Italy, while I was traveling.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I'm a culinary school graduate and registered dietitian, and I currently work as a personal chef, so I would absolutely love to cook for you. I also love talking with new people and sharing stories, views, and experiences!
