Hi, I’m Jackie :) I'm from California and I live in Vietnam (4 years). I seem to go back and forth between these places, as they both have my heart in many ways.

It's difficult to define what I do in this life because it changes often, but I can tell you a lot of what i'm passionate about and what keeps me alive!

I love the arts and dance. Performing arts, visual, painting. I'm a (sport) pole dancer and former fire dancer. I practice Pilates and yoga most days.
I like making my own herbal medicines, natural dyes, going out to dance, hosting gatherings, being active, pondering life & the universe. Health & wellness is a meaningful part of my life. Taking care of my mind and body is essential to keeping up in this world. I enjoy a glass of wine or nice beer sometimes, but I’m not a frequent drinker.

Some other things I do to keep myself stimulated: reading, writing, studying, cooking, gardening, adventuring.

I'm quite open-minded and I prefer to connect with others who are tolerant and accepting of some 'alternative' lifestyle choices and views :)

My goal with everyone I meet is to make them feel understood, accepted, and valued. Friendship and community are important values to me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love connecting with locals of each country I visit, it’s the best way to understand the culture more and I love meeting new friends :) One day when I have my own home I want to host travelers and share my abundance with others ❣
