I love meeting new people and experiencing new things. I also love sharing those new experiences with new and old friends alike. I'm fascinated by the capacity of the human heart and all of our similarities throughout the world despite our different cultures. I'm a truth seeker and follow whatever makes my heart sing. Life was meant to be lived happily and my happiness lies in learning, loving and giving.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I've been away from the Couchsurfing community for a little while stuck in the ongoing rut of Covid, my day job and responsibilities. But... It's time to explore again! I’ve used Couchsurfing only a couple of times and it has been one of the best experiences of my life. Meeting people from all over the world is refreshing and so inspiring. I wish I could accept couch surfers in my home. Unfortunately I live with a roommate who doesn't agree with my views and of course I have to be respectful of her beliefs.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I’ve not only made many friends from all over the US and Europe while couch surfing, but I also met one of my closest friends who became my business partner. We worked together for 2 years on a social media site to help change the superficial world of technological communication. I headed back to Europe to meet with him and speak at a TEDx conference about our venture in Paris. Then I went to Tunisia for his beautiful wedding. And it was all because of Couch Surfing. BEST. EXPERIENCE. EVER.

Interests

I'm interested in everything from food to bungee jumping! Although I love touristy stuff, I also love to see the real, hidden cultures in the cities I visit. More specifically -- great local cuisine/dining, hiking, sightseeing, theater, wine/beer tasting, traveling to lesser known areas, bungee jumping, zip lining, experiencing new cultures, dancing, skiing, nature, water sports - ALL sports really, snow, sun, beaches, shopping, art, museums, hellicopter rides, scenic train rides, massages, boating, biking, amusement parks, and so much more! So basically everything. Haha Just ask. :)
