ABOUT ME

I'm originally from Memphis, TN. I went to undergrad in Boston, spent a year in DC doing research at the NIH, and an currently back in Memphis preparing for my first trip to Europe! This August, I'm starting an MD-PhD program, probably for biomedical engineering.

I've been to Canada and South America but never to Europe, Asia, or Africa and would love to travel to these places. I love good food, friends, music, cool architecture, and art. I'm a huge nerd and love science, history, literature, and social sciences.

PHILOSOPHY

More than anything else, I believe people should be true to themselves - you only have one life and should really think about your goals and passions and pursue them. Family, friends, relationships are a top priority to me - people matter so much than money/power/things.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I just signed up for couch surfing after hearing about my cousin's awesome CS experiences. I'm planning on couch surfing through Europe but look forward to being able to host when I get back!
