Overview
About Me
CURRENT MISSION
To travel as much as I can and make genuine connections with all kinds of people
ABOUT ME
I majored in Illustration and I love traveling. I've been lucky because early in life my parents have taken me to many different places like England, China, and Taiwan, as well as all over the U.S.
PHILOSOPHY
We are all here randomly and by chance, and life has no inherent meaning. So why not do what you want and make the most out of what you have? And while you're doing it have as much fun as you can and worry as little as you can =)
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
I can meet up for a tour of D.C museums!
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I've only surfed once but it was amazing experience in Barcelona that I'll never forget.
Interests
I really love art, both making art and seeing other people's. I think that personal expression is one of the most interesting things that there is, and what kind of art/music/whatever one makes says a lot about that person. I'm interested in people in general- in the differences and the similarities. In individuality.
I love music as well, I'm trying to learn the guitar and I sing a bit, though I won't vouch for how well!

Music, Movies, and Books
Some movies I love are Pan's Labyrinth, the Lord of the Rings series, Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind, Pulp Fiction, Silence of the Lambs, Persepolis, American Beauty, and Vicky Christina Barcelona.
I enjoy the Beatles, Led Zeppelin, The Bridge, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Imogen Heap, Sigur Ros, Regina Spektor, Red Hot Chilli Peppers, MGMT, Simon and Garfunkle, The Black Keys, Mazzy Star.
Books are a huge part of my life. I don't know what I would do without them! Some faves are House on Mango Street, the Lord of the Rings, The Little Prince, Bridge to Terebithia, Brave New World, The Bell Jar, Lolita, One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest, Kartography, Mere Christianity, and Norwegian Wood
Teach, Learn, Share
I don't quite know what I have to offer, I feel that my knowledge of things is scattered and patchy- but I would love to learn any language that anyone could teach! I guess I could teach how to cook a little Chinese food! I'm always looking to improve upon all the languages that I'm learning, including Spanish, Chinese, and Japanese!
