One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

The most surreal thing I've done may have been on my trip to India. While I was in Hampi I went hiking though a jungle with mud, tall grasses, huge rocks surrounding a very rapid waterfall. In between those rocks there were deep holes where if one were to fall you would need some extraordinary help from an alien to get you out.. or a helicopter. As if that weren't dangerous enough, as we were leaving the guide showed me tiger prints on the floor claiming they were fresh and may have been from the night before. He decided to leave us because we wanted to stay there a moment longer. Sunset was approaching and as we were hiking back through the tall grasses and mud we heard a loud rumbling noise. My friend from Australia said it may be thunder.. but there were no clouds in the sky. We heard the noise again and hurriedly made our way back to a safer part of the jungle. A few weeks later while visiting the zoo I was near the tiger cage and when I heard it growl I knew that what we had heard in the jungle in Hampi was indeed a tiger.
