I went to a fine arts university for painting, but luckily dropped out. I went back for a bit just to take acting for fun.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Traveling by foot/rideshare around EU from now until at least Aug 2015. Lets get coffee, maybe hitchhike together, maybe hang out at your house so I can meet some friends! Hop a train? Go to shows? Climb a mountain?

Trying not to spend $ cuz I'm no capitalist. But NOT looking to mooch/freeload either. I will share costs whenever I can, be good company, and work-trade.

I want to meet all kinds of people! I am open. I LOVE listening to people's stories.

I realize my job title sounds a bit strange... I have worked as a nurses aide & caregiver to differently abled people for many years. I often work with hospice, which is for people who are dying soon. An End Of Life Doula or Midwife helps that person & their family in many ways that hospice can't. We are there to talk, assist with daily activities & recreation, and keep the client comfortable We are there through the whole process, even with the family after the person has passed. That way the client knows their wished will be fulfilled. The family also has someone to talk to. I can help plan funerals and home burials.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I am a caregiver experienced with the elderly, hospice, differently abled, special needs, childcare, and petsitting. I house-sit. All for trade!

I will dumpsterdive a ton of free food if I can, if thats your thing. Or I will buy us food and cook! I am an omnivore. Was vegan for many years, can cook vegetarian.

Experienced in communal living. I will do house chores and respect your space.
