About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Living in the moment.

ABOUT ME

I am Taiwanese born in the city of Taipei and lived my early years in a small nearby town called Keelung with my parents. We moved to Los Angeles when I was about 7 years old and I have been here ever since.

I haven't traveled as much as I'd like to but I try to make the best of my free time and travel when I can. I feel very fortunate to have met so many wonderful people during these travels especially those I've met through Couchsurfing. I truly believe that this community is special. The memories I've made and the friendships I've gained from surfing and hosting have been priceless.

My personality is fairly outgoing and positive. I like to think that I am easy to get along with and always up for a good adventure. I truly enjoy learning about other cultures and the beauty of the world around me. There is a lot of hate and fear in this world but I believe that there is also much love and compassion that is shared and Couchsurfing is a great example of that.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

CURRENT STATUS:

I am planning on taking a 12 day trip to South Africa and will be bringing my mom with me on my travels this time around. I was able to convince her to Couch Surf with me! =) We land in Cape Town and plan to be in that area for at least a few days and possibly checking out part of the Garden Route with opportunities to stay a few nights along the way.. Would also be great to go on a budget friendly Safari. We don't have a set itinerary, mostly just a list of places to check out and wherever else the wind takes us. The dates are confirmed to be December 20, 2018 to January 1 2019. If anyone is interested in hosting us please let me know! If you can't, but you're able to meet, we'd love to explore and do something fun with you. I also understand that hosting 2 people could be a lot for some, but for those who are able to, I assure you, we will be great company. =)

For those who are visiting Los Angeles, I am currently interested in ONLY MEETING UP with surfers at this time. If you're nearby in the Southbay LA area and have some time to spare in the evening during the week let me know!

These days are a bit busy on my end but I would still like to find time to spend with you at least for a meal, or a small activity if time allows.

YOU SHOULD ASK TO MEET IF YOU:

- Have interesting stories to share.
- Are looking for new friends, connections, or just to give me some chocolate =)
- Must have your profile filled out with at least one reference.
- Bring good energies and positive vibes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

My first couchsurfing experience in Denmark, Sweden, Norway, and Puerto Rico.

Getting lost in the rocky mountains in Colorado in the middle of the night without any flashlight or phone reception. Only had my wits and intuition to guide me!

Running the LA Marathon, the first full marathon I ran and the great feeling afterwards when I know I finished it in one piece all the way through without stopping.

Backpacking for a week to the highest peak in Mt Whitney, the highest mountain in the 48 contiguous states here in the US.

Taking a nice long bath in the hot springs in Mt Whitney On the 4th day of the backpacking trip. It was the BEST bath ever!

Zip-lining the world's longest zipline cable, "The Monster" in Puerto Rico.

Teach, Learn, Share

Teach: Salsa Dancing and Volleyball! And anything else you want to know that I might know.

Learn: Anything and everything you want to teach. Bring it!

Share: Just ask!
