About Me
I am 26 years old, born and raised in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Yes, it is a bit like Breaking Bad here :)
At 23 I graduated culinary school and started on a pretty big adventure called "Real Life." It has been very exciting, and unpredictable to say the least. I have had many different food, restaurant, and hospitality related jobs, and one day, I hope to open and run a Bed and Breakfast.
I like to think of myself as compassionate, understanding, totally goofy, and always willing to learn something new, and expand my horizons.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I am on Couchsurfing in order to have the type of travel experience that I want, while staying within my budget. That being said, I believe that interacting with the locals of a place is the BEST way to learn about somewhere. While hostels and hotels can be great, there are so many more things to learn from people!

Music, Movies, and Books
I am in love with Shakespeare, and anything by Bill Bryson and Paulo Cohelo. Its so hard to pick a favorite when it comes to authors and books.
Also, A Song of Ice and Fire!!
Shakespeare in Love, The Princess Bride, American Beauty, and Jurassic Park are my favorite movies.
And old school Kung Fu movies
I'm such a sucker for anything Marvel. Avengers, Agents of Shield, it's all good to me!
And recently you can catch me pulling my hair out while watching Game of Thrones.
As far a music is concerned, anything that can make me dance, or feel.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Oh goodness! This is a hard one.
When I was 14 I was given the opportunity to go to China with my Kung Fu school. While on Wudan Mountain, we were able to preform some of our forms for the monks there. It was cold, and there was a light snowfall, and it was eerily quiet, yet incredibly serene.
That is one of those moments I will never forget as long as I live.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my travel experiences, my culture, and my knowledge. If you are interested, I can teach you how to cook a few New Mexican dishes!
