ABOUT ME

I'm an individual who is looking for excitement, natural beauty, and of course some good old fashioned partying. Coming to Denmark is my first adventure ever leaving the states. It's time I spread my wings and fly across Europe to have some of the best moments of my life. I wish to travel as much as possible while I'm in Europe and having a free place to stay makes it all the more probable. I'm a sociable guy in his early twenties who is clean and doesn't smell like stinky old socks. I will only be traveling with a backpack so all the space I will require during my stay is the designated couch for me and a small teeny tiny corner to place my bag. Some of my adventures I will be all alone with no one to meet so I would be more than happy to spend some time with my host and get to know them and the life style they have for themselves. All that being said I hope who ever is reading this will at least ponder the thought of letting me become a brief roommate.

PHILOSOPHY

I have a very laid back personality. I tend to do things without much planning and just go with the flow. I am always cleanly especially when I'm a guest in someone's home. I see that life is short and needs to be lived to the fullest without any regrets on what could or should have happened. Meeting new people is a must for me. I value the idea of having friends from all around the world because with new friendship comes a new understanding of how someone views the world that is all around us. Lastly, I'm a big advocate on trying everything at least once, such as foods, games, and activities, as long as the chance of death is not thrown into the mix.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Because I live in a shipping container transformed into a dorm room I will only be participating in surfing. However, when I go back to the states I can return this service and kindness I have received abroad to those who wish to see the beautiful state of Wisconsin.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I'm a couch surfing virgin right now, but ideally by the end of my 6 month stay in Denmark I will have a few great experiences to reminisce on.

Interests

I'm interested in the great outdoors. I'm a very active person and I love to go hiking to find ancient architecture or naturally made monuments. In addition, I do like to unwind and indulge in the night life activities when ever I visit a new city. Having some drinks and seeing live music is one of my favorite past times. Going to clubs and lively bars is always a good time for me as well. Since I am a tourist I'm always interested in finding the small restaurants or events that only the locals would know about. Although I have never been, I am excited to go to my first soccer game in one of the countries I visit during my journey.

Movies: Pineapple express, Gladiator, Bourne Identity series, Rock n Rolla, Pulp Fiction, Django, Into the Wild to name a few favorites

TV: Dexter, Breaking Bad, Game of Thrones, The Walking Dead, Californication, Family Guy, Curb Your Enthusiasm

Music: Pretty much listen to everything but Heavy Metal and boy bands. Punk, rock, reggae, grunge, old school rap, and a little bit of country are my favorites.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I would say the most amazing and exhilarating thing I have done in my life thus far is sky diving out of an air plane at over 4000 meters above ground level.

Teach, Learn, Share

I'm 21 years young and the world is full of knowledge and skills I wish to acquire. Learning about cultures and skills that are unique to a specific place is the best way to become a diverse human being. As for teaching, the most interesting skill I have to offer is some basic carpentry techniques and experience.
